Family Sponsored Walk : 10.00 a.m. |

Fun Family sponsored walk at Wittenham Clumps with refreshments, craft stalls and a choice of either a 5k or 8k route.
Sunday 1st July, registration begins at 10am
Advance tickets: Adults £5, Children £2.50
Tickets on the day: Adults £7 Children £5
(Participants are asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £30)

The next town council Planning Committee will be held on Tuesday 3rd July 2012 at 7.30 p.m. at the Town Hall, Alvescot Road, followed by the Recreation Committee at 7.45 p.m. Members of the public and press are welcome to attend. |

Repatriations : 4.30-5.00 p.m. |

We have been advised by RAF Brize Norton that the Repatriations of Warrant Officer Leonard Thomas of the Royal Corps of Signals and Guardsmen Craig Roderick and Apete Tuisovurua both of the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards will take place on Thursday 5th July 2012.
The plane will land at approx 1.30pm and the cortege will pass the Memorial Garden between 4.30-5.00pm, reaching the John Radcliffe Hospital between 5.30-6.00pm.
Norton Way will be closed from approx 1.30pm, whilst Station Road, Brize Norton, will be closed for approximately 10 minutes once the cortege leaves Britannia Gate at RAF Brize Norton.
