Repatriation : 3.30 p.m. Edit 
  PLEASE NOTE THE NEW TIMINGS FOR THE REPATRIATION We have been advised by RAF Brize Norton that the repatriation of Signaller Ian Sartorius-Jones, 200 Signals Squadron, will take place on Thursday 2nd February 2012. The plane will land at approximately 1:30pm and the cortege will pass by the Memorial Garden at around 3:30pm arriving at the John Radcliffe Hospital around 4.30pm. Norton Way will be closed from approx 12:30pm, whilst Station Road, Brize Norton, will be closed for approximately 10 minutes once the cortege leaves Britannia Gate at RAF Brize Norton. The weather forecast for Thursday is cold with sunny intervals therefore please ensure you are prepared. Please note that times are subject to change at short notice and we advise that you check again by visiting www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/repatr iations or call 01865 816345.  
 

Carterton Job Club : 9.30 - 11.00 a.m. Edit 
  The Carterton Job Club is held fortnightly on a Thursday morning at the Town Hall, Alvescot Road, 9.30 - 11.00 a.m. Visitors have the use of up-to-date newspapers, laptops and printer, advice about CV writing, Benefits and Adult Learning, and much more. Refreshments available. Everyone welcome.

Slimming World group : 7pm Edit 
  Come along to your local friendly Slimming World group, where you can lose weight, feel great and meet new friends. We meet at Carterton methodist church every monday at 7pm, come and join in the fun!  
 

February 7
Repatriation : 4.00 p.m. Edit 
  We have been advised by RAF Brize Norton that the repatriation of Lance Corporal Gajbahadur Gurung from 1st Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment will be on Tuesday 7th February. The plane is due to land at 2:00pm and the cortege will pass by the Memorial Garden at 4:00pm, arriving at the John Radcliffe Hospital at around 5:00pm. Planning & Policy Committees : 7.30 p.m. Edit 
  The next meeting of the Town Council Planning Committee will be held on Tuesday 7 February 2012 at 7.30 p.m., followed by the Policy Committee at 7.45 p.m. Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.

Slimming World group : 7pm Edit 
  Come along and join in the fun, we will be launching our Lets beat it campaign for 2012, how much weight can you lose in the next 12 weeks? Meet us at 7pm at Carterton methodist church, dont wait to lose weight!

Pub Quiz Night : 7.00 p.m. Edit 
  There will be a Pub Quiz Night at The Vines in Black Bourton in conjunction with the Mayor of Carterton. Choice of fish and chips or sausage and mash at £7.50 each, or £3.00 for non-dining entry into the quiz. Teams of 4-6 people, questions start at 7.30 p.m. All profits go to Helen and Douglas House. Slimming World group : 7PM Edit 
  Come along to your local friendly Slimming group, where we are there to support and help each other along the way. Lose weight, feel fabulous. We meet monday eve 7pm, at Carterton methodist church.

  Come along to Carterton methodist church every monday night to lose weight the easy way, with support and encouragement every step, you will soon reach that target, whether you want to look fab for a wedding or want to lose weight to get back the old you!
