Save the Children

Save the Children was started in 1919 by Egaltyne Jebb for the purpose of helping children in Europe who were deprived as a result of the Great War. The work of the fund has been extended to children world wide including our own country.

The emphasis of the work is directed towards security, food, health and education of the children.

Emergency assistance is always provided in disaster situations but the prime effort is in projects which provide long term relief.
